Purpose of The St. Augustine Yacht Club
The Purpose of the St. Augustine Yacht Club is to promote boating activities and the Saint Augustine maritime community. This includes all aspects of sail and power boating and encompasses local, state, national, and international programs and associations. SAYC will be an advocate for waterfront protection and improvement, community awareness, environmental preservation, safety, educational and youth development issues.
In association with other like-minded organizations SAYC will provide each member an opportunity to focus on initiating, managing, promoting and participating in programs of their choosing. Program development will be member driven and reviewed annually by the Long Range Planning Committee and Board of Governors based on:
